TARANTISM Stop off in LE PUB, NEWPORT on 12TH MAY as they hit the road to promote their new album, ‘A Pill to Purge All Melancholy’ – which drops on 1st May 2022.
Tarantism have been an integral part of the grass roots festival scene since the early nineties and have earned themselves a reputation as a ‘must see’ live band. Mixing Celtic, dub, dance and punk vibes, they are guaranteed to get any audience up and dancing. (If you don’t dance, you might want to check your pulse.)
This is likely to be the band’s last full tour. The logistics of getting together a band that are spread to all corners of this green and pleasant land are becoming unfeasible. Don’t panic though, we doubt you will be able to stop them playing festivals.
The new album will be available on tour – but you can pre-order it via Bandcamp.
DACTYL TERRA have been making a bit of a name for themselves in the last year or so. Their unique blend of funky psychedelic blues has been getting people grooving throughout South Wales and they will no doubt be breaking out on to the wider scene now that lockdown is easing.
They will have copies of their new EP, ‘Tsunami Go’, which is out on 1st April with them on the night. If you cannot wait – you can order it here or via bandcamp
TAFFY TWP, the one-man festival on a stick, will be opening up proceedings with his acoustic guitar in his hand, his heart on his sleeve and anger in his voice. Expect rebel songs, folk tales and plenty of punk attitude.
Once again Peppermint Iguana join forces with Radical Wales to promote this show, with any profits going towards the running of the Campaigns Area at this year’s Green Gathering in August.
