HOW TO ENTER – what we want
We want to hear stories connected with songs. Tell us about a song that reminds you of an eventful gig, a time in your life, or a special person. It could be how you got thrown out of a gig, a time you got particularly wasted, or the time you travelled half way across the country to find a gig was cancelled. Maybe a tune you fell in love to or a song that reminds you of someone no longer with us.
Or how about sending some of your own music and telling us about the song?
The funnier, crazier, wilder the story, the more chance you have of winning.
HOW TO ENTER – The technical bit
E.Mail us . Please use SHARING STORIES as the message title. We ideally want a voice message (preferably MP3, but we can convert if necessary).It’s easy, simply record something on your phone, or whatever recording device you have available. Dont forget to tell us which song you are talking about.
If a voice message is beyond you, write us a tale to read out. Again, e mail it to us.
WHAT HAPPENS TO ENTRIES:
We try to play as many of the entries as possible on the Peppermint Iguana Radio Show – followed by the song you are picking. Just bare in mind the type of music we play to increase your chances of getting on. Tales of the Tofu Love Frogs have a better chance than tales of The Spice Girls.
WHO WINS?
Senders of the best entries will win one of our mediocre prizes. But dont panic you will be contacted to make sure we dont send you something you dont want (like the wrong size t shirt).
