CELEBRATING A DECADE OF HEAVY, SPACED-OUT ROCK WITH SUPPORT FROM SUNS OF THUNDER, INFINITY FORMS OF YELLOW REMEMBER & MADE OF TEETH. THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED!
Lacertilia, The Welsh lizards of heavy psych, have been together for over 10 years now! That’s a whole decade of noise! It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating our 5th anniversary with a ram-out rock show at Clwb Ifor Bach . . .yet here we are!
There’s nothing quite like traveling about with your friends, playing original rock music to people who really appreciate it. It’s quite special and we are truly grateful. We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last decade, and we want to send our appreciation to all the promoters who’ve facilitated the Lacertilia experience.
Everyone knows that we like a party and now we’ve turned 10, we’ve got the perfect excuse to gather the tribes for a proper rock n roll blowout! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you an extra special show to celebrate our 10 orbits around the sun. We’re very excited and extremely proud to announce that we’ve secured ‘The Globe’ venue in Cardiff for our anniversary bash on Saturday 19th October. This will be our biggest headline show to date, so of course, we’re planning big things for it!
We’ll be taking a trip down memory lane, blasting our way through choice cuts from our discography. We’ll also be unveiling some new tracks from our forthcoming album. We’ve taken great pleasure in developing our sound and putting together what we believe to be our best work to date! More details on that coming soon. .
On the night we’ll be joined by 3 well known bands on the scene who are also very good friends of ours. Wales’s premier heavy sludge punk outfit ‘Made Of Teeth’ will kickstart the event with their unique brand of explosive noise. ‘Infinity Forms Of Yellow Remember’ are on second and will surely mesmerize the crowd with their unrelenting, motorik, psychedelic slob rock. Swansea’s veterans of the Welsh heavy scene ‘Suns Of Thunder’ will get the crowd head nodding and grooving with their catchy hooks and funky stoner vibes leaving everyone riled up and ready for the full power cosmic rock attack from Cardiff’s space lords ‘Lacertilia’.
This will be a very special event and we can’t wait for it to come around.
