An instrumental tribute to the victims of the Pulse Night Club fire in North Macedonia
Our last show was a Special, featuring many young North Macedonian bands, by way of a warm up for our trip to skopje to watch Wales playing football.
Within few days of that show being broadcast a tragic fire occurred in a nightclub in Kochani, some sixty miles from Skopje. Fifty-nine young people lost their lives and hundreds more were hospitalized.
It is a tragedy that has hit the headlines all over the world. The truth about what happened that night will undoubtedly come out soon, but for now, we just wanted to pause for reflection.
At some point in the near future we will be putting together another special show to celebrate the music of North Macedonia, and in some way honoring those young people that went out to a gig, and never came home. We want to do that properly though, we don’t want to rush it. And it feels a bit inappropriate to be banging on about the latest new releases this week, so what you are about to hear over the next two hours is a mostly chilled, mostly instrumental mix of just four tunes with a psychedelic flavour.
