There’s been a lot of talk recently of people reliving their youth and paying stupid money to see reformed bands. We here at Peppermint Iguana like to relive our youth, not by listening to the music of our youth, but reliving that buzz you get when you first discover a new band, when you are keen to learn more about them, buy their records and go to see them live.
This show is an example of that. Quite a few of the tracks on the play list are by bands that we hadn’t even heard of when we did the last show two weeks ago. That’s one of the reasons we do the show, to motivate us to go out looking for more. Hopefully, it is one of the reasons you listen.
