Peppermint Iguana Radio Show – end of year round up 2022

2022. That was a bit intense wasn’t it. War in Ukraine, Big Liz popping her clogs, three prime ministers in two days, cost of living crisis, strikes left right and centre, the most controversial world cup ever.

On a personal level, we have bought a new campervan, returned to international travel, been to shed loads of gigs and festivals and moved home. And the radio station has closed down

All of this – in particular the closure of Jacs Radio – means we haven’t done a show for a while, but we have still been keeping our finger on the pulse. And the musical pulse has been throbbing like a good un in 2022.

In this three hour round up we scratched the surface of the best albums of the year.

*It was our first show recorded in our new HQ and it wasn’t till we go to the end and listened back that we realised the acoustics in out new studio/office/bedroom are a bit dodgy. But I’m sure it is the music you listen in for, not me waffling, and I wasn’t going to rerecord the whole bloody thing – we have a party to go to
