Peppermint Iguana Radio Show # 308 was recorded in the comfort of Iguana Towers. And with the world going to hell in a handcart, it will be no surprise to regular listeners that we have opted to do a show inspired by current world events.
The show features tunes hot off the press, written in response to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, tunes from Ukrainian artists, tunes lifted from some of the many benefit albums already out there raising funds for the people of Ukraine.
We also have tunes that reflect on other issues that have had the spotlight shone on them in the last two weeks – propaganda, ethical consumerism, the plight of refugees – and the fact that there are other wars out there we should also be outraged by.
